Hair must be securely tied back for all classes. We require a bun for ballet class.
No gum chewing or loose jewelry allowed during dance class.
No food or drink except water is allowed in the studio.
No street shoes are allowed on the studio floors.
Any dancer who misses warm up in class, will not be allowed to participate in class until they have stretched on their own.
Disrespect of another student or DZ staff member will not be tolerated.
Costume fees are due November 1, 2010.
Tuition must be current to continue in class.
Tuition must be paid in full by May 1, 2011 to participate in recital.
Tuition must be paid by the 1st of the month to receive the discount.
Lyrical and Modern: all levels must be taken with a ballet or jazz class.
Jazz Level 3 & higher must be taken with a ballet class.
Most dancers remain in each level for 2 years.
Level 1 & higher classes: dancers are moved up based on curriculum requirements.
Class size is based on what studio is being used and the age of the dancers. Most Hip Hop classes will have 15-20 dancers.
Welcome to the Dance Zone! We pride ourselves on giving your child a quality dance education through personal attention from our well-trained staff. We offer classes for ages 1 through adult in various styles and levels, including Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, and Modern. Students may take classes recreationally or audition for our award winning competition team, Co-Motion. We work hard to make sure you and your child are happy at our studio. We always keep our parents up to date through our monthly DZ Newzletter. Our staff is committed to continued education in dance in order to benefit your child. Many of them hold college degrees in dance, and/or are certified through Dance Educators of America.
